Siemens Foundation and Discovery Education Announce Fourth Annual Grant Sweepstakes

The Siemens Foundation announced today that submissions for the 2020 Possibility Grant Sweepstakes are now open. The sweepstakes offer Title 1 K-12 schools across the United States the opportunity to win a $10,000 grant that can be used to purchase STEM supplies, technology or be used in a STEM-related lab.

“The Siemens Foundation is committed to closing the opportunity gap for underserved students to prepare them for STEM careers and economic self-sufficiency,” said David Etzwiler, Chief Executive Officer, Siemens Foundation. “The 2020 Possibility Grant Sweepstakes is yet another way to ignite our future scientists and engineers.”

The submission window will be open through April 28, 2020. Educators can enter daily for a chance to win the grant.

“The 2020 Possibility Grant and Siemens STEM Day inspires today’s learners for the STEM careers of tomorrow with engaging and innovative resources that help them explore their world,” said Lori McFarling, President of Corporate Education Partnerships at Discovery Education. “The partnership with Siemens Foundation and Discovery Education empowers K-12 students to engineer their dreams.”

This is the fourth year of the sweepstakes.

  • Fort White Elementary School (Fort White, FL)
  • Lithonia High School (Lithonia, GA)
